Seungri was rumored to be involved in the " Prince Compound " crime zone in Cambodia after an old video of him participating in an event with the "Prince Brewing" logo went viral, causing a stir on social networks.
Former member of the band BigBang , Seungri, has once again become the focus of online discussions, this time revolving around suspicions related to the "Prince Compound" â an area famous in Cambodia for organized crime activities.
The source began to appear on Korean forums after an old video of Seungri was shared again. In the clip, the male singer holds a microphone in front of a background with the logo "Prince Brewing" â the same name as "Prince Holdings Group", an organization that has been mentioned in international reports on criminal networks in Cambodia. This clip was originally posted last year but only attracted attention again when cases with Korean victims in Cambodia increased.
Some netizens speculated that if Seungri had ever attended an event related to "Prince Brewing", this could suggest a connection to Prince Holdings, the organization suspected of being involved in criminal activities at "Prince Compound". However, there is currently no evidence to verify that Seungri is directly related to Prince Holdings in Cambodia.
"Prince Compound", also known as "Taija Compound", is well-known in the international media as a hub for cybercrime, illegal gambling, and human trafficking. Reports show that many victims, including South Korean citizens, were deceived by fake job promises and then detained or exploited in these complexes. Prince Holdings Group is mentioned in foreign reports as a potential investor for development projects near the area, which in turn leads to unverified speculation about a connection to Seungri.
Notably, neither Cambodian media nor Prince Holdings' official channel provided any evidence of cooperation or any official events related to Seungri. Although Prince Brewing is a subsidiary of Prince Holdings, local records show the company primarily operates as a brewery and tavern, not as a crime-related investment institution. Therefore, Seungri's appearance at the event with the "Prince Brewing" logo does not prove any connection to the illegal activities at the "Prince Compound".
This rumor comes amid an increase in reports of South Korean citizens being kidnapped and scammed at complexes such as "Prince Compound" and "Mango". Many victims are lured with fake job promises through online "investment advice" scams. The South Korean government has listed these areas as dangerous, advising tourists and foreigners to be cautious when visiting.
Experts and media outlets emphasize the importance of verifying information before it spreads, especially with rumors related to international crimes. Until there is an official statement from Seungri or Prince Holdings, the public should approach information with caution and rely only on reliable sources.
In short, there is currently no solid evidence that Seungri is related to Prince Holdings Group or activities at "Prince Compound". Any speculation is based on unverified assumptions from old videos, and the spread of misinformation can seriously affect personal reputations and international relations.
