His name is associated with the songs Co hang xuong (Neighbor Gir.l), Giot le dai trang (Tear of a Dai Trang), Long me (Mother's Heart), Thua me con ve (Dear mother, I'm back). After settling in the US, Chau Tuan continued his artistic activities but was not as active as before. However, the male singer still had a comfortable life thanks to his wife.

Chau Tuan's partner is John Hoang. He was adopted by a wealthy family in Vietnam when he was young, so he never knew his parents. In 1992, John Hoang and his adoptive family immigrated to the United States.

Chau Tuan's partner also got married to hide his true gender but later broke up. He is now a manager of a medical equipment company.

Chau Tuan and John Hoang met through the introduction and matchmaking of singer Cam Van and then moved in together in 2011. 5 years later, the couple held a wedding in the US with the blessings of many artist friends overseas as well as Chau Tuan's biological mother.

"One appointment after another, we are very happy and cherish every minute here," he said. Two days ago, Chau Tuan and John Pham went to John's hometown in Quang Ngai to attend the wedding. He felt the warmth and happiness when being welcomed by his "husband's" relatives.

Besides meetings, Chau Tuan and his partner spend private time together. The two wandered the streets to sightsee and explore the cuisine, especially the rustic dishes that they had not enjoyed for a long time. Chau Tuan said that John Pham was a vegetarian so he wanted to try famous vegetarian restaurants. He treated his partner to a sumptuous vegetarian meal at a restaurant on Nguyen Hue Street.

After finishing their schedule in Saigon, Chau Tuan - John Pham planned to visit Tien Giang and Vinh Long provinces to greet relatives and then travel before returning to the US. The male singer said he regretted not being able to go on this trip for a long time despite trying to arrange his work. He hopes to have many opportunities to return to Vietnam in the near future to be closer to his audience and enjoy life after many years away from home.

A few months ago, Chau Tuan had health problems and had to be hospitalized in an emergency. The male singer suffered from many problems with his bloo.d, liver function, and lack of nutrients in his body, leading to symptoms of headaches and dizziness. The condition lasted and became serious, even dangerous, and he had to be hospitalized in an emergency.

It took Chau Tuan several months to recover his health. After recovering, with the encouragement of his gay partner, he returned to Vietnam to celebrate Tet to relax. Since living together, this is the rare time Chau Tuan and his partner have been apart for such a long time.
