Running Man VN returns, reveals old and new cast, Thuy Tien is not welcomed?

Running Man Vietnam is the Vietnamese version of the famous Korean reality TV show Running Man. Recently, information appeared on social networks that Running Man Vietnam season 3 is about to air.

A series of faces predicted to participate in this program are Miss Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, Dieu Nhi, Tien Luat, Vo Tan Phat, Neko Le, BB Tran, HURRYKNG.

Notably, according to a source, Dong Tay Promotion is no longer the producer of Running Man Vietnam 2025. For some reasons, the program has changed owners again. Previously, in March 2021, producer Dong Tay Promotion cooperated with SBS and domestic production unit Lime Entertainments to produce Running Man Vietnam season 2, with the Vietnamese name Choi La Chay.

After the first season aired, Running Man - the Vietnamese version of Running Man was considered successful when it received great love and support from the audience, especially young audiences.

However, in the second season, the show was met with mixed opinions. Many viewers said that the show was quite bland, lacking in suspense and the unnatural interactions between the members made the show awkward. However, this reality show still had an enviable high viewership, and it was also the place that was said to have brought the rumored couple Thuy Ngan - Jack together.

"Running Man" is one of the most popular reality shows in Korea, which was launched in July 2010 on SBS. After more than 15 years on air, the show still maintains its great appeal and is considered the hottest reality TV show in Asia. Of which, the highest-achieving episode in history was 133-134 with a rating of 21%. Two episodes were filmed in Macau and Vietnam with guests Lee Dong Wook and Han Hye Jin.

When Running Man first debuted, most variety shows were either talk shows like Strong Heart, or focused on games (Dream Team, X-Man). Running Man was an interesting mix of both. It gave the cast a set challenge to complete and changed locations each week. It offered surprises and thrills.

According to The Straits Times, the show's popularity is due to its dramatic elements, unpredictable results, the humor of the members and the celebrity guests. As of 2018, Running Man has received 71 nominations and won 49 awards.

In 2013, Running Man chose Vietnam and Macau as the destinations for the Asian Race - Mystery of the Golden Sword. Based on the Vietnamese legend of the Golden Turtle, the production team created a journey to find the precious sword from Macau to the capital Hanoi and the final destination is Trang An - Bai Dinh - a place with beautiful mountains and rivers like being lost in a fairyland.

The Running Man cast, along with two guests, actors Lee Dong Wook and Han Hye Jin, when coming to Vietnam received a very warm welcome from fans of the S-shaped strip of land. The show's appeal was once again confirmed when fans surrounded the Water Puppet Theater, the small street of Ta Hien, and the Landmark Keangnam building just to see the 7 members in person.
