The 3-day 150 billion livestream session of Quyen Leo Daily and his wife is shaking the internet. In the midst of curiosity about the revenue of 3 days of live, the brand said that there was no profit, and would review the tax.

Quyen Leo Daily sets a sales target in the TikTok livestream session of up to 150 billion VND and will give a car worth more than 300 million VND to lucky people who register and watch the livestream live. This is the first time that a livestream session on TikTok in Vietnam where shoppers have the opportunity to be given a car with a record expected revenue of 150 billion VND.

The livestream session starts at 10 a.m. on June 5 and is expected to end after 24 hours. However, due to not achieving the initial sales target, Quyen Leo Daily continued the livestream session until June 7, which will span 3 days.

According to Quyen Leo Daily, after the first 1 hour of the livestream, the revenue figure reached 11 billion VND, after 2 hours it was 16 billion VND. However, this livestream session slowed down sales when the number of viewers and purchases did not meet expectations.

The latest revenue figure that Quyen Leo Daily announced on his personal page on the evening of June 5 was only 50 billion VND. That is the reason that this livestream session had to last longer than expected.

According to purchasing users, the reason Quyen Leo Daily has sales lower than the original target is because it coincides with the livestream sessions of many other celebrities on TikTok such as Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlog) or Hang Du Muc. In particular, at 8 p.m. on June 6, the "god of war review" Ha Linh also livestreamed live competition.

In the livestream session expected to reach 150 billion VND of Quyen Leo Daily, there are many brands participating with different discounts and using TikTok Shop's discount vouchers.

The label manager of Lameco whose products participated in the livestream session of Quyen Leo Daily said that this livestream session lasted until June 7 to achieve revenue of 150 billion VND as expected. However, the final result of the live session of this couple still suffered a loss.

"My side has a product in this livestream session, both the brand and Quyen Leo Daily will not be profitable because they will sell the original price of the product to users. What we want here is to promote products and brands to a larger number of customers," said this manager.

On the side of TikTok Vietnam, this unit said that 150 billion livestream sessions such as Quyen Leo Daily will be the expected total revenue. As for how to negotiate the percentage of commission for each product sold, it is up to the livestreamer and the brand and the platform will not intervene. Of the 150 billion VND expected revenue, Quyen Leo Daily can collect the commission based on the contract with the brand and will have to declare for rent with the profit earned from online sales.

Meanwhile, recently, the General Department of Taxation requested local Tax Departments to comprehensively review and inspect the declaration, payment and use of e-invoices of organizations, households and individuals doing e-commerce business on the trading floor doing business in Vietnam.

Quyen Leo Daily will be one of the individuals participating in affiliate marketing, online sales via livestream will also be subject to review.

According to the General Department of Taxation, the form of selling through livestream on e-commerce platforms is currently very popular. Through livestream sessions, it can be seen that brands and hired people selling through livestream have a large source of revenue. Notably, some individuals and organizations livestream have revenues of up to hundreds of billions of VND.

It can be mentioned that the TikTok channel Quyen Leo Daily had livestream sessions lasting 17-20 hours, achieving a "shocking" revenue of 100 billion VND. With a revenue of 100 billion VND, Quyen Leo Daily broke the record of 75 billion VND sales livestream of his channel set on March 4.

According to the General Department of Taxation, there are currently a number of individuals who voluntarily register to declare and pay taxes of billions of VND when they have revenue of tens of billions of VND from sales livestream sessions on e-commerce platforms.
