However, under the posts of Ung Hoang Phuc and Que Van, many people living in Hanoi said that because it is an area outside the Red River dike, people in Phuc Tan area (Hoan Kiem District) are used to flooded roads like this. Although this year the rain is heavy and the flooding is deeper, they have enough experience to cope, manage to protect themselves, and stabilize their lives. This statement has angered many netizens, who have criticized Ung Hoang Phuc and his wife and the crew, claiming that these people are deliberately arranging to "go into deep floodwaters" to take photos and promote themselves while the people of the North are in pain due to natural disasters and losses.

However, some netizens do not rule out the possibility that the person who made the above inappropriate statement is not part of Ung Hoang Phuc and Que Van's charity team.
