The male singer said the reason he lost the lawsuit was because he read the lawsuit but did not respond and was absent on the day of the court hearing, so he was automatically declared the loser.

However, at that time, Quang Le had not yet compensated the show organizer nearly half a billion VND who sued him. Recently, when working on the paperwork for the assets he owns, the male singer learned that he had to compensate the show organizer $18,000.

"I'm not angry with anyone because that time I was wrong, there was no good reason for canceling the show. Until now, I still regularly sing for that show producer. Last year, I sang for him 3 shows. After 2 years since being sued, I met the show producer again and greeted him normally. I said, he sued me and took my money, so now he should invite me to sing again. In the end, that show producer still invited me to sing again," the male singer shared.

Recounting the story of losing the lawsuit and losing a large sum of money in compensation, Quang Le hopes this will be a lesson for many singers, not to arbitrarily cancel shows.

"I share this story as a reminder to singers not to arbitrarily cancel shows because they could be sued. There are some singers who go on tour abroad and then arbitrarily cancel shows. Luckily, the show organizers haven't sued them yet, otherwise they would have to pay compensation," the male singer said.
