The argument between Phuong Le and Ms. Ni - Hong Loan continued to escalate when the businesswoman continuously posted criticisms, challenging the other side to release the recording that was said to record the incident during a "horrible night".
Phuong Le's harsh words on social media have caused a stir in the online community.
In her latest post, Phuong Le called the person she was referring to an "illusionary best friend", claiming that this person considered himself the center of the universe and had the ability to change the judgment of the law. According to Phuong Le, that person "thought he had the power to influence the court", but she questioned this ability and suspected that it was just a personal plot.
The businesswoman also did not hesitate to say frankly: "Without you, the law would still be fair. Without you, the property would still belong to the deserving person." She criticized this person for trying to polish his name by interfering in other people's stories. According to Phuong Le, the real motive behind that "help" was for personal fame and popularity, not entirely out of kindness.
She also mentioned a person named Phuoc, who, according to her, was "spoken to as if he were ordering her around" and showed no respect. Phuong Le recounted that "Lon" had told her about this disrespectful treatment.
In addition, Phuong Le also sarcastically criticized Ni's actions of "polishing the old clip", saying that they were "too desperate to counter-sue" so they had to take a clip from a person named Mit that was filmed two years ago to "put out the fire". She asked: "Did the person who recorded the clip ask permission?" and said that doing so was "habitual theft".
Notably, at the end of the post, Phuong Le concluded with a challenge: "Still waiting for you to release the recording of the terrifying night."
Not long after, Ms. Ni responded. She posted a 14-second audio clip online that caught the attention of the online community because it featured the voice of artist Vu Luan. In the accompanying post, Ms. Ni called on everyone to "listen carefully" and then judge for themselves who was in charge of the game. She did not hide her frustration at being forced to speak up: "People don't want to speak up for peace, posting everything without realizing the content or message in it."
Although it is unclear whether this recording is related to the "horrible night" challenge that Phuong Le mentioned, Ni's actions somewhat show that she does not accept "sitting still and taking the hit".
Not stopping at the controversy on social media, the incident also extended to the cemetery - the resting place of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh. Hong Loan, who is believed to be the adopted daughter of the late artist, continued to face reactions from her biological family, including Ms. Hong Nhung - the biological mother of singer Hong Phuong, Vu Linh's younger sister.
According to recorded information, Ms. Hong Nhung sent a response to Binh Duong Flower Garden, Cemetery Management Board, Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City... In the letter, she affirmed that she was the one who signed the contract to use, bury and build a tomb for her brother - artist Vu Linh.
Ms. Nhung objected to the entire content of the petition sent by Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan to Hoa Vien Binh Duong and the authorities on June 16. She emphasized that she and her daughter â Hong Phuong â were the ones who directly took care of the late artistâs funeral during his serious illness. When the hospital announced the funeral preparations, she and her daughter went to find a suitable burial place.
Notably, she said that when she asked Hong Loan about choosing a burial site and supporting the funeral, she received the response "it depends on fate" and did not see any participation, even financially. This, according to her, completely negated Hong Loan's role in taking care of the deceased.
In addition, Ms. Nhung also denied the rumor that her family rushed to buy a grave before Vu Linh passed away. She shared that at that time, the late artist's health was at an alarming level and the doctor had a bad prognosis. Hong Phuong's purchase of a grave two days in advance was completely justified - stemming from the desire to take care of her brother.
Ms. Hong Nhung's petition also counter-accused that Hong Loan did not take care of the funeral, but took the initiative to take care of the death certificate and related documents to proceed with the transfer of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh's assets. She affirmed that Hong Loan had falsely declared herself as the late artist's biological child in the administrative documents.
The latest developments continue to divide public opinion. One side believes that the deceased should be allowed to rest in peace, and that disputes surrounding property and funerals should be avoided. Meanwhile, many people are still closely following every move of Phuong Le, Ni and Hong Loan, waiting to see whether the recording of the "horrible night" will actually be released as a threat.
