The information that Son Tung M-TP is said to participate in Running Man Vietnam is attracting attention on social networks. However, the male singer had an official response, clarifying the rumors that surprised fans.
In recent days, social networks have been stirred by the information that Son Tung M-TP appeared in the program Running Man Vietnam. Some viral images show the male singer standing with the cast of the show, making the online community believe that he is a special guest. However, soon after, Son Tung's media representative quickly refuted this information completely, affirming that it was just a fake product created by AI technology.
Specifically, under the comment section of an article spreading information online, a representative of Son Tung M-TP left a clear message: "I would like to reiterate that artist Son Tung M-TP does not participate in this program at all as information and images are spreading."
The male singer also expressed his tough attitude: "The use of AI collages or spreading false news in any form is a fake act, seriously affecting the artist. Please check and remove the relevant content to avoid misunderstandings, as well as ensure the transparency of the information."
The above affirmation quickly extinguished the rumors and helped the audience understand the nature of the case. However, this story has once again sounded the alarm about the problem of faking artists' images with AI technology that is becoming more and more popular.
Not only Son Tung M-TP, many Vietnamese artists have also recently become victims of sophisticated counterfeit products. From using AI images and voices to advertise products to taking advantage of names to deceive, a series of cases have caused concern to the public.
Previously, singer My Tam had warned the audience about a series of videos and advertisements using fake images and voices of her for illegal commercial purposes. "They use my image and voice to promote unlicensed products. This is a violation of the law, seriously infringing on the artist's image rights," the singer emphasized.
Similarly, Dam Thu Trang was also frustrated when she discovered that many social media accounts impersonated her to recruit jobs, promising "light jobs with high salaries". Cuong Do's wife had to post a screenshot on her personal page, warning fans not to believe this false information.
Not only big stars, Duc Phuc also had trouble when his image in the finale of Intervision 2025 was taken advantage of by some fanpages to promote illegal cryptocurrency trading. The male singer's manager had to remind fans to be vigilant, and at the same time affirmed that Duc Phuc did not have any involvement in those activities.
MC Cat Tuong also shared a similar situation when many people faked social media accounts to appropriate fans' money. Despite repeated warnings, this situation has not been completely handled.
The problem of faking artists' images with AI is becoming a big challenge in the digital era. The fact that it is increasingly easy for online platforms to create "realistic" images or videos has led many people to be deceived. Media experts believe that, in addition to users' awareness, a stricter legal framework is needed to control and sanction the use of AI technology for bad purposes.
