So there was no miracle for the 19-year-old TikToker after a period of fighting the disease. Many people sent condolences to her family and expressed their regret at her passing.
"Despite trying to be optimistic and inspire people with cancer like me, in the end no miracle happened"... is the story of Nguyen Thi Minh Hanh (commonly known as Nam, born in 2005), owner of the Tiktok channel with nearly 70,000 followers and 4.7 million likes.
Since getting sick, instead of being sad and losing motivation to live, Nam has always kept herself in the most comfortable and positive state of mind. She often posts inspirational videos about her journey facing cancer at the age of 19. Thanks to that, people in the same situation have bravely overcome the disease, cherishing the short time left with family and friends.
A few days ago, a friend of Nam shared: "Although it is heartbreaking to have to tell everyone this news, my friend is truly gone, everyone. Tomorrow is the official funeral, thank you everyone for always caring, encouraging and loving Hanh."
Until recently, speaking with PV, Minh Hanh's biological brother confirmed that his sister had passed away after nearly a year of fighting the disease. This person also said that she passed away on March 23, and the funeral took place on March 25 in her hometown of Vinh Phuc. The news of the female TikToker's death shocked and saddened many people.
Family, relatives, friends and the online community - those who loved Minh Hanh - are all deeply saddened by the beautiful, talented but unfortunate friend who passed away too soon.
"Is she really gone?"; I've seen this girl for a long time, now that I've received the news, I'm shocked. The little girl over there must be happy"; "You are truly a cancer patient with positive energy and are extremely optimistic"; "Crying at 2am for someone I don't know or don't know. I've been silently following you all this time, I love you so much"; "Farewell shooting star Minh Hanh!"; "You will always be the pride of your parents and family"... are some of the condolences shared below Minh Hanh's posts on her personal page.
Minh Hanh is a fairly famous TikToker on social media and is loved by many people. In June 2024, she suddenly announced that she had leukemia. A month later, she posted a vlog "1 day of cancer treatment at the age of 19". At that time, she said she was undergoing chemotherapy for the second time, had to cut her hair, and sometimes could not walk, and her family was always by her side, taking care of her.
In the following days, Minh Hanh continued to diligently post clips, sharing about her treatment process in a positive way, transmitting good energy to everyone. On this journey, the female TikToker received many words of encouragement and comfort from family, friends and the online community.
Before becoming known as a content creator, Minh Hanh was famous for her impressive academic achievements. She is a former student of Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted, and has won scholarships from more than 16 different universities such as: SP Jain, Monash, Deakin, University of Sydney (Australia), Augustana College, Colorado College, DePauw University, Trinity University (USA), University of Dundee, University of Bristol (UK), and universities in Vietnam including RMIT, Vin University, British University Vietnam and Swinburne Vietnam.
Among them, the highest scholarship that Minh Hanh achieved was the 90% scholarship (equivalent to 2 billion VND) from SP Jain School of Global Management. However, she still decided to study in Vietnam at the National Economics University, planning to study abroad in the future when she has the opportunity. The former student of Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted is also fluent in two languages: English and French.
In her last days, Minh Hanh advised young people to sleep early, exercise, and live a healthier life so they don't have to suffer the same pain as she did.
