However, another source close to Britney told Dailymail: "The allegations are absolutely ridiculous. Her lawyer, a former federal prosecutor, would never let anyone blackmail Britney Spears."

Britney and Sam Asghari signed a prenuptial contract in 2021 after getting engaged. The contract, drafted by Britney's personal lawyer, is said to be very tight to protect the singer's $ 60 million fortune. "It's only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce," the source told TMZ.

Representatives for the pop star and Sam Asghari currently declined to comment on the breakup news. The two also did not speak out on their personal Instagram.
