According to Meritorious Artist Huu Quoc, their house is located adjacent to the house where he lives with his parents, in a small hamlet. All members of the family are very careful to comply with 5K but do not understand why his family has so many infected people. Only his parents are safe.

Meritorious Artist Huu Quoc said: "Since my neighborhood was blocked, every day, I still bring food home to stay in front of the gate where people are guarded. My biological sister represents me to take food to share with the whole neighborhood. Two days ago, while I was busy cooking, she called me continuously, I did not answer. In the evening of the same day, I called her back. She told me that she was positive and was in the hospital. The fieldwork. As soon as the Covid-19 epidemic broke out in Ho Chi Minh City, Meritorious Artist Huu Quoc organized a charity meal at his restaurant in Ngo Gia Tu apartment building. Meals here are supported for doctors and nurses in field hospitals and also for the poor in the blockaded neighborhoods. He said the charity program "Shared kitchen with love" was held on the first day on the morning of July 4 with the participation of many 5B theater artists such as director Vu Tran, actors Vo Ngoc Tan, Quynh Anh, Khanh Dang.

"The first 500 servings of rice were given to the poor in the blockade and isolation areas in District 4, District 8, District 10. I was surprised when my program was enthusiastically supported on the first day of implementation ", male artist said.

According to Huu Quoc, on the afternoon of July 5, Love Sharing Kitchen received a donation of nearly 70 million VND from colleagues and sponsors. As expected, the program will increase from 500 servings to about 800 servings on 11/7.

"Initially, the fund had a budget of 60 million VND, was expected to cook up to 12 million VND per week and last for 5 weeks, distributed on Sundays. But if there are more sponsors to support, the group will increase to two days each week are Wednesdays and Sundays," he said.

The idea of cooking meals and giving to the poor in isolation and blockade of artist Huu Quoc was formed after he was asked by artist Thoai My to cook 400 volunteer meals. After planning, the male artist and the staff at his restaurant embarked on implementation.

"Luckily, I have a restaurant available and grasp the process, so it's not difficult to do. In addition to the two chefs, actors and singers are divided into serving meals. One part includes chicken rice braised with lemongrass and chili, soup. pumpkin, stir-fried cabbage, fresh milk and banana", added artist Huu Quoc.

The artists went to the isolation and blockade areas to deliver food. They implement the 5K rule and coordinate with the local militia to hand it over to the people.

"On the way, if we meet poor and disadvantaged people, we also give them meals. I hope the pandemic will be reversed soon so that everyone's life can return to normal," he confided. .

To date, this kitchen provides 1,600 meals per day. Since then, Meritorious Artist Huu Quoc has not returned home. He and the kitchen team of young actors are all regularly tested for Covid-19 and have been vaccinated.

For more than a month, missing his parents and adopted son, he only dared to return to look back from afar. When finished, return to the kitchen to work hard from morning to night. Many days the gout attack was painful, he still passed.
