Meritorious Artist Dinh Chien was born in 1956. The male artist was born in Nam Dinh Province, living and working mainly in Hanoi City.

At the age of 16, he graduated in acting and joined the Central Voice Troupe. However, the actor was only assigned short roles or public roles.
