People's Artist Tran Hieu married a wife nearly 20 years younger, U90 is still happy, making many people admire

People's Artist Tran Hieu has been through two marriages, the current partner of the male artist is Ms. Minh Nga. More than 70 years of artistic activity and nearly 60 years of teaching, People's Artist Tran Hieu still lives in music, is optimistic, loves life next to his confidant wife, taking care of and relying on each other.

People's Artist Tran Hieu (full name is Tran Trung Hieu) was born in 1936 in Hanoi. He graduated from the Hanoi Conservatory of Music in 1959. In 1981, he was a graduate student in Bulgaria.

He was held as a lecturer in vocal department at Hanoi Conservatory of Music, Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music from 1959-2014. Artist Tran Hieu's name is associated with many famous songs such as Con Voi, Ho Pulled Phao, Tua Ca, I Am Le Anh Nui, Anh Quan Biao Vui Chi...

He was awarded the title of People's Artist in 1981. People's Artist Tran Hieu is the brother of musician Tran Tien. His daughter is singer Tran Thu Ha - one of 4 divas of Vietnamese light music.

The first wife of People's Artist Tran Hieu is the outstanding teacher Vu Thuy Huyen, also a singer and lecturer at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music. She gave him two children (a boy and a girl) and died in 1991 when the youngest Tran Thu Ha was 14 years old. The second wife divorced in 2005.

In 2006, he married his third wife and live together until now. Her name is Minh Nga, 18 years younger than People's Artist Tran Hieu, a native of Hanoi, used to be a teacher.

Talking about the relationship, Ms. Minh Nga confided that People's Artist Tran Hieu was a friend of her brother. Their family lives on the same street, so they practice tai chi together in the park.

Every time she finished practicing, Nga often picked up fallen leaves on the tree to fan her cool. And that action attracted the attention of People's Artist Tran Hieu. He just sat there quietly watching her without starting a conversation.

Until Mrs. Nga went to Hanoi to visit her family for more than a month, every day the male artist picked up a leaf to express his longing for that special woman.

By the time she returned to Saigon, 41 leaves for the unexpected expression of People's Artist Tran Hieu touched her heart.

Mrs. Nga recounted: "I counted 41 pieces, he said that I had been away from him for 41 days. I was touched to hear that, why would anyone care about me like that?"

Coming to a famous artist in the late afternoon of her life, Mrs. Nga confided that "the word love is bigger than the word love".

During the first meeting, People's Artist Tran Hieu suffered from many diseases, "low salary but still poor". Her family also prevented her from taking it because she was afraid that she would be disadvantaged and struggling. However, because of her love for the talented artist, she decided to stick with, take care of and live with full responsibility for that choice.

The wedding of two people only a few trays. After getting married, they had to stay at the house of musician Tran Tien, then the children of both sides pooled money to buy their grandparents a 49-square-meter apartment to live in. Currently, according to People's Artist Tran Tien's desire to "fall back to the roots", the couple have moved to Hanoi to live in an apartment in Giang Vo.

Up to this point, People's Artist Tran Hieu and his wife have lived together for more than a decade. During that time, Mrs. Nga took care of her husband from AZ, from eating and sleeping to acting.

Knowing that her husband had many diseases, she had to eat and drink on a strict diet, every day she went to the market to cook by herself, removing every piece of fish bone for her husband to eat safely and deliciously.

People's Artist Tran Hieu said that wherever he goes now, he must have her with him whatever he does, otherwise he will feel an important part is missing, but he also doesn't know what to do.

At the end of 2014, artist Tran Hieu faced a "deadliest" illness. It was Mrs. Nga who wholeheartedly took care of him during the days in his hospital bed. After that illness, People's Artist Tran Hieu decided to give up alcohol and tobacco, follow a healthy diet, sleep and exercise under the devoted help of his wife.

People's Artist Tran Hieu shared on: "I am healthy, lucid, acting, teaching all thanks to her. I cannot live without my house. She is a woman with all the qualities that I like the most. : gentle, sincere and few words. Like me, it's about bad luck."

It is known that at home he and his wife often call each other by "nickname" which is very cute. She called him "Old Bear", he called her "Mam".

Every time he talks about his long-time wife who has suffered a lot to be by his side in the late afternoon, People's Artist Tran Hieu always gives a lot of love and respect. He confided: "Whoever says anything, but living with Mrs. Nga, I am happiest".

For her part, Mrs. Minh Nga said: "Uncle and uncle came together first because she loved and understood his loneliness. As a public figure, she understood that situation and came to take care of him, promising together will go to the last breath".
