To prepare for the role of Old Hac, he had to grow a beard for 6 months, trying to lose as much weight as possible in the hope of creating the best shape for his character.

The artist shared: "Because I got acquainted with the dog before, when I entered the official studio, I was no longer distracted or worried by Mr. Vang. We acted as if we weren't acting, because we were familiar with each other. The dog easily does what I want, and he is comfortable acting with me. I think that when he is filmed, the dog will definitely delight the audience with his acting ability and cuteness. its cute".

I spent a month getting closer to the dog, as well as learning voice commands from training expert Ha Xuan Hoang. But what's more worrying is that outside the scene, the dog easily loses focus, affecting everyone's acting. So, director Tran Vu Thuy had to take time for the dog to get acquainted with the whole crew, so that when standing in front of a scene with a large crowd of people, he would not be disturbed.

C howling dog is the main actor, with up to 53 scenes, while the role of Old Hac only has 49 scenes. Not only was it difficult for me, but the whole crew almost had to... follow Mr. Vang's schedule. To fully play the role of Lao Hac, artist Viet Lien said: "To have good physical strength, every day, I get up at 4 a.m. to cycle and do push-ups. Initially, I lost weight from 63 kg to 59 kg. kg to meet the filming schedule in May 2020. However, the film crew at that time could not find a suitable setting, so it was moved to September.
