Talking about his passion for art, the male artist shared: "Since I was a chil.d, I have been fascinated by it and often followed the youth union members to practice performing arts. As for my chance to learn Cheo singing, one time when I was passing through Mai Dich area (Cau Giay, Hanoi), I met two friends who had just come out of the cultural area and joked, "What are you doing in the cultural area today?". At first, when I teased them, they were shy, but then they honestly said that they had just recruited Cheo there.

In that troupe, there was an artist named Diem Loc who was famous for her role as Thuy Van pretending to be crazy. She was very funny and invited me to join and then auditioned, but unexpectedly I passed. In the next round, the other two friends failed, but I passed, but after studying for a few months, I joined the army.

At that time, my family also had two brothers who were in the army. I was the youngest and also went, but when I joined the army, my uncle told me that since two brothers had already gone, the third should be given priority to go to school. After that, I asked not to go anymore, but I missed out on learning Cheo. At that time, the Army Drama Theater was recruiting again, I joined and was accepted, after three years of studying, I worked there until I retired."

At the ag.e of over 60, artist Quang Teo still performs because he is passionate about his profession and does not care about the salary. He is very suitable for the role of a simple farmer, so the audience often calls him by the intimate name: "Farmer Quang Teo - the artist of the people".

The male artist added that up to now, he still has enough strength to perform in far away provinces. He goes away for 25 days a month, sometimes he can only eat a few meals at home with his children, the rest of the time he eats on the road. Sometimes he eats dry food when performing. It is so hard, but he never tells his wife and children about it because he finds it his joy.

Artist Quang Teo said: "If there is a next life, I still wish to be an artist, to live under the spotlight". Thanks to hard work, in 2022 the artist inaugurated a garden house in Thach That (Hanoi), neoclassical style, 1000m2 wide, built on a piece of land he bought 18 years ago. Quang Teo loves nature, likes to grow flowers and trees.

Not long ago, when sharing with the press, director Nguyen Cong Vuong (Vuong Rau) revealed that Meritorious Artist Tien Quang (Quang Teo) currently has 3-4 houses, several plots of land and tens of billions of dong in cash. Not everyone in the artist world is as rich as Quang Teo.

During 14 years of treatment, Quang Teo said that he and his wife spent a lot of mone.y. Every time they went for treatment, they were very embarrassed. When they least expected it, his wife unexpectedly became pregnant, even carrying twins. In 2003, the couple happily welcomed two angels into the world. Later, Quang Teo's wife sacrificed her career to stay home and take care of her husband and children.
