It wasn't until 21 years later that I was able to visit home. The feeling of seeing my mothe.r again after two decades is something I can't forget. At that time, I was just crying and speechless. I brought my emotions into the role, expressing the message: Without my mothe.r by my side, it's like losin.g half the world," she said.

"As an artist, sometimes you have to have emotions to act. But for me, each melody, each image is deeply ingrained in my flesh and bloo.d and I express it in the most authentic way. I didn't play that role, but recreated it," Artist Le Thien added. She recalled the moment of separation, met her mothe.r again, remembered the trips along Truong Son, performed for the troops with the Van Cong troupe, witnessed the sacrifices of her comrades... to fully express emotions.
