Thinh signed up for a short acting class at Xuan Phuoc Film Studio. This academy is located on the same campus as the IDECAF Drama academy. Therefore, Thinh decided to register for further study at IDECAF. Thanks to her natural talent for art, at the end of the course, Thinh was chosen to play the villain Trinh Ham in the musical Tien Nga, which was performed with Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc.
