Nguyen Phuong Anh: Miss 2004 focuses on studying, dreams of becoming a pharmacist to take care of ethnic minorities

Nguyen Phuong Anh was born in 2004 in Thanh Hoa and is currently studying medicine in Hanoi. She was crowned Miss Vietnam Identity Tourism 2024 in the final round held in August in Quang Ngai.

When crowned, Nguyen Phuong Anh was 1m73 tall, weighed 48kg, and had measurements of 85-62-90cm. In the new photo series, the beauty surprised everyone by showing off her slim, sexy figure. She revealed that she had lost 3kg 2 months after being crowned.

Nguyen Phuong Anh said that in the past 2 months, she often had to travel to many provinces and cities to participate in social and entertainment activities. Despite the pressure of becoming a beauty queen at the age of 20, she is always neat and radiant every time she appears. Nguyen Phuong Anh said she is very happy to bring pride to Thanh Hoa after Do Ha, Phuong Nhi... Besides, she still studies hard with the desire to become a pharmacist in the future.

The beauty born in 2004 said that her wish is to use her specialized knowledge to support and take care of the health of the elderly and children in difficult circumstances, especially ethnic minority communities. "For me, health is very important, affecting the development and happiness index of people. Only with good health can we develop the socio-economy and help those around us," said Nguyen Phuong Anh.

Being crowned at a young age, the 20-year-old beauty said: "I still maintain my studies until now. When I'm too busy, I ask my teachers and friends to provide me with materials to review my lessons. Everyone sympathizes and supports me. I want to try to study hard to graduate next year."

After winning the crown, Phuong Anh actively participated in community activities. "I participated in the program to support and help flood victims of the Thanh Hoa Tourism Association. Besides, I also awarded scholarships to poor students at Thach Thanh 1 High School, and gave Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to poor children in Quang Ngai. I am still trying to do more meaningful things within my ability," she shared.

Regarding the Miss Vietnam Identity Tourism contest, Nguyen Phuong Anh was crowned "Pure Flower" worth 2 billion VND, inspired by the lotus flower. At the same time, she spent two years of her reign promoting culture and tourism in Quang Ngai province.

The final night of the Miss Tourism Vietnam Identity 2024 contest took place on October 5, 2024 in Quang Ngai. With the theme "Vietnamese Identity", the contest brought the audience impressive performances, honoring the beauty and culture of Vietnam. Nguyen Phuong Anh excellently expressed herself through the Ao Dai, evening gown and behavioral rounds.

In the Ao Dai competition, Phuong Anh chose a traditional Ao Dai with lotus motifs, a symbol of purity and nobility. This outfit not only highlighted her gentle beauty but also expressed her love and pride for national culture. In the evening gown competition, she wore a gorgeous evening gown, highlighting her slim figure and charm.

The behavioral round was the decisive round, where the contestants had to answer questions from the judges on social, cultural and tourism issues. With intelligence and ingenuity, Phuong Anh excellently answered the question about the role of tourism in preserving and promoting national cultural values. She emphasized that tourism is not only about exploring scenic spots but also an opportunity to understand and appreciate the cultural and historical values of each land.

In the final night, Nguyen Phuong Anh impressed in the behavioral round. She received a question from singer Nguyen Vu: "If you were the winner of Miss Vietnam Identity Tourism and had the opportunity to participate in an international competition, how would you introduce Vietnam to international friends?".

She replied: "If I am lucky enough to win the highest position and compete internationally, I will use my image to spread on social networking platforms to introduce to international friends that Vietnamese people are very friendly and hospitable, have a long-standing culture, many beautiful landscapes and many historical relics. The cuisine is extremely rich and diverse. Vietnam is a peace-loving country. We always welcome tourists to Vietnam."

The first runner-up title went to Le Thi Tuong Vy from Quang Ngai, the second runner-up title went to Pham Thi Thanh Thao. The third runner-up titles went to Tran Thu Hien from Bac Giang and Dang Thi Tham from Long An.

Miss Vietnam Tourism Identity 2024 is co-organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province. The contest aims to honor the beauty of the soul, personality, lifestyle as well as the physical training, intelligence, talent and courage of Vietnamese women. According to designer Ta Linh Nhan, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, each contestant in the contest is a tourism ambassador with the mission of spreading the beauty of the homeland and country to domestic and international tourists.
