"Everything that comes from a passion for football. It's the same with playing professionally. From the time he trained professionally at the age of 14 or 15, he had individual titles and certain successes from club level to national team," Ngoc Mot shared with Zing.

"Up to now, I am still passionate and enthusiastic and always think that in one way or another, I will pass on the accumulated knowledge over the years to the next generations. After coaching professionally for about 2 years, then working with community football, I decided to set up my own center named after me."

After 10 years of retirement, many people mention Ngoc Mot as an excellent striker in Vietnamese women's football that has been produced, attractive female players thanks to her graceful and salty beauty, although many generations of juniors have grown up equally complete in both talent and beauty.

For Ngoc Cham, it is a happiness and also a motivation for her to continue sticking with football, even though she is no longer in the professional playground. "I'm quite happy to be favored by everyone. Now many people still refer to herself as Miss Women's Football. Parents also know their names and send their children. More importantly, I still live with football every day and pass on my passion to my children in the CFF center," the former striker said.

The secret to preserving beauty

Already 37 years old, Ngoc Mot still retains her youthful beauty and "sporty standard" shape. Even the Vietnam Women's Golden Ball 2008 still maintains the physical foundation that many people admire. During the past days of social distancing, Ngoc Mot used to plank up to 7 minutes and 10 seconds.

She achieved the aforementioned achievement after 6 days of receiving challenges from her friend. The former striker said she had no trouble hitting the mark where many people had to "run long to come". "Perhaps, because of the accumulation from when I was a professional. When I retired, I was still on the field teaching and training, so the physical foundation was still there. By the time the plank reached 7 minutes, I was quite satisfied with myself so I moved on to another challenge", Ngoc Mot shared.

"Such challenges during quarantine help people escape the boredom of living at home, be motivated, comfortable, fun and very rewarding."

The former player also revealed that one of the things she fears is losing shape because it affects her current job: "I can't let my students look at me with too fat a body. So I still maintain the intensity of training 6 days a week. Diet is also a way to preserve the body."

Having experienced many health events, Ngoc Mot is well aware of how important it is to keep healthy. "Having been on the operating table twice when I was playing and later delivering a baby, I am well aware that health is the most important asset."

"When I was playing, there was a period of injury treatment, I was too workaholic to work and it took several months to recover. From there, I realized that if I wasn't healthy enough, I couldn't worry about myself and my family."

She also sent a message to parents to let their children have more time to exercise, play comfortably with friends and limit the use of electronic devices. "Currently, computers take up a lot of your time. I always discuss with parents not to put too much emphasis on professional issues but think that children can play and interact with friends. Most importantly, they are physically active."

"When I opened the community football center, I also wanted it to be a stepping stone to find talent. Capable children and families who are also oriented towards the path of professional football will be introduced to professional teams such as PVF, Viettel or Hanoi FC."

With Ngoc Cham, she is living a happy life while pursuing her passion, making the name of Miss Football and professional titles. More importantly, as she shared, from the accumulated personal capital after more than 10 years of playing professional football and then turning to coaching, she will contribute a part to finding new talents of domestic football.
