In a 34-page cross-lawsuit, singer Bich Tuyen's husband pointed out that Dam Vinh Hung had an accident on February 19 but quickly recovered. From May to July, he performed 27 shows in the US and Vietnam, "clearly showing the singer's singing and dancing ability". He only stopped performing after being banned from performing in September.

In addition, the lawsuit also mentioned that Dam Vinh Hung had sued Mr. Gerard with compensation levels that changed continuously from 15 million, 5 million, 20 million and finally 50 million USD (about 1,270 billion VND).
