Under the comment section of the article, friends and colleagues of the two also expressed their joy when the two sides "broke the mirror and healed" after days of conflict.

Dam Vinh Hung also spoke out about the lawsuit with singer Bich Tuyen's husband. Accordingly, the voice of "Sad Hymn" said that after a period of thoughtfulness, he and Mr. Gerard William sat down to dialogue together and came to the decision to withdraw the lawsuit and affirmed that they would not sue again to avoid negative information and bad things from happening again. This is the decision that Dam Vinh Hung thinks is the most suitable to bring lightness to both parties.

The incident originated from a party to celebrate the Lunar New Year on February 19 organized by businessman Mong Linh, with the participation of many artists. According to singer Bich Tuyen, Dam Vinh Hung was injured because he arbitrarily climbed on the fountain in the yard to sing, leading to the tank breaking. As a result, he had to be admitted to an emergency hospital and have some toes amputated.

On October 30, Dam Vinh Hung filed a lawsuit with the Superior Court of California (USA). According to the revelation of Dung Taylor - husband of singer Thu Phuong, the lawsuit only has Gerard Williams' name but does not mention Bich Tuyen or the borrower of the event organizer. Before filing the lawsuit, the male singer sent a letter demanding $20 million in damages (including $15 million in damages and $5 million in attorneys' fees) by October 13. If not approved, the compensation will increase to $50 million in court.

Notably, according to Dung Taylor, after the incident in February, the parties still went back and forth with each other. Bich Tuyen and his wife even went to see Dam Vinh Hung's liveshow in May. However, possibly due to not reaching an agreement on the initial compensation amount ($15 million), the male singer decided to ask a lawyer and file a formal lawsuit.
