The beauty from Nam Dinh wrote: "A long journey in Mexico has ended and it is also the time for Duyen to return to her beloved Vietnam. At 6am on November 20, Duyen will be at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

Duyen would like to thank everyone who has accompanied her throughout the past time. Even though the time zone is 11 hours away, everyone has accompanied her day and night throughout the long journey. Duyen will never forget this feeling. I love everyone very much." After completing her mission and realizing her 10-year dream, before returning home, Ky Duyen, along with the president of Miss Universe Vietnam and runner-up Huong Ly, visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico. At this event, the Top 30 Miss Universe 2024 wore light makeup and a discreet, elegant coat. The beauty queen smiled brightly and shared many special emotions after creating a miracle for Vietnamese beauty.

Ky Duyen went to Mexico to compete in Miss Universe on October 29. With just over a month to prepare for the contest, Ky Duyen trained intensely and ate strictly. She improved her foreign language skills and her ability to interact with coaches. Ky Duyen said that her experience in many contests and her high determination are the advantages she brings to Miss Universe.

Over the past two weeks, Miss Universe has mainly been filled with meetings, media interactions, and brand photoshoots. Ky Duyen showed confidence and proactively connected with other contestants. She also carefully prepared her outfit, hair, and makeup.

The final night of Miss Universe 2024 has ended with the overall victory belonging to the Danish beauty. Ky Duyen of Vietnam has successfully entered the Top 30. Once again, Ky Duyen affirmed that the title of Miss Vietnam has never been denied in the international arena.

"My dream has come true. I came in fourth place after France, India and Serbia in the top 30. I am really proud of myself for contributing a small part to Vietnam because this year the competition at Miss Universe was so fierce with 130 contestants, all of whom were strong. Thank you to everyone who has always been by my side, supporting and loving me," Ky Duyen shared after the final round on the morning of November 17.

Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen was born in 1996, from Nam Dinh. She is 1.76 m tall, measures 86-60-94 cm, and was crowned Miss Vietnam 2014. She has been invited to be a judge and coach in competitions and programs such as The Look Vietnam 2017, Vietnam Supermodel 2018, Miss Sports Vietnam 2022, The Face Vietnam 2023. In September, she won Miss Universe Vietnam 2024.

Miss Universe, which first took place in 1952, is one of the most watched beauty pageants in the world. Thai billionaire Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip bought the organization and will take over from 2022. The 73rd edition had nearly 130 contestants - the largest number ever.
