Miss runner-up Tuong San has been continuously appearing on Thai television in recent days. She appeared with a neat and attractive appearance and impressed with her smooth Thai speaking. It is known that before joining the Miss International Queen competition, Miss runner-up Tuong San spent 6 months learning this language.

In the final night that took place on the night of August 24, the beauty from Khanh Hoa was continuously called to be in the top 12 - top 6 - top 3. Tuong San's performance in the top 6 and top 3 was not smooth, falling into a stumbling situation and was supported by an interpreter.

In the end, Tuong San was crowned 2nd Runner-up - Miss International 2024. This is the second time that the Vietnamese sash has made it into the top 3 of this contest after Huong Giang's impressive achievement in the 2018 season. In addition, Runner-up Tuong San also "won" 5 additional awards including: Best National Costume, Most Beautiful Skin, 2nd Runner-up in the Talent competition, Best Performance in the Semi-Final Night and Most Photogenic Beauty.

Throughout the recent international competition, runner-up Tuong San combined English and Vietnamese. The final night of Miss International Queen 2024 ended with the overall victory belonging to the Peruvian beauty. Following closely behind was the Thai beauty with the 1st runner-up position and Tuong San - representative of Vietnam with the 2nd runner-up position. Before achieving this achievement, runner-up Tuong San competed in Miss International Queen Vietnam 2023 and was crowned 1st runner-up.

Despite finishing as the second runner-up, after the final night of Miss International Queen 2024, many fans were still upset because they thought that the representative of Vietnam was being treated unfairly. Specifically, the question in the behavioral round of Tuong San when she entered the Top 6 had the content: "Many countries have now passed laws recognizing the right to change gender, which means that many countries recognize transgender women as women. What is your opinion on whether it is fair or not when transgender athletes are allowed to compete in sports with female athletes?".

This question made Tuong San somewhat lose her composure, and she answered hesitantly, even though she was in Vietnamese, she still couldn't get her point across. After that, the 19-year-old beauty's answer was translated to make a more impressive impression: "In the world, many countries have recognized many cases of transgender people becoming girls. What do you think if transgender people are allowed to participate in sports for women? As a transgender person, we always consider ourselves women. Therefore, I always support the right of transgender people to participate in sports for women. We should respect transgender people and their thoughts."

Next, Tuong San was named in the Top 3 to answer the question: "What is the motivation for your big change to become Miss Transgender 2024?". She continued to answer in Vietnamese but was not convincing enough compared to the representatives of Peru and Thailand. "The only motivation that makes me want to become Miss Transgender is the desire to make this world more equal and better. I have dreamed of this dream for 6 years, this is also the motivation that helps me be in the final Top 3, making history for Vietnam. If I achieve this title, the first thing I want to aim for is technology and education, because I think these two factors are extremely important," Tuong San shared.

On her personal page, Miss Huong Giang - Miss International Queen 2018 left a status mentioning Tuong San's behavior: "What a long question?"; "Good, polite, obedient, cute, I really love you! Many people want the achievement but why am I still a little sad because I want to have a moment to hold hands, having that moment would be more complete...".
