Recently, beauty Nguyen Tuong San, representing Vietnam, won the title of 2nd runner-up at Miss International Queen 2024 in Thailand. After the contest, the beauty said she would use the prize money to pay off her debt due to her difficult economic situation.

It is known that her bonus after winning the title of Miss International 2nd Runner-up is 100,000 Thai baht (equivalent to 73 million VND). With this amount of money, Tuong San hopes to be able to pay off her debt. Many fans were moved when hearing about Tuong San's situation.

Previously, this model revealed that she did not receive support from her family in her gender transition, so she came to Ho Chi Minh City to live and earn money to fulfill her dream. She used to pick up balls on tennis courts, work at bars, cafes and work as an employee at convenience stores. It was not until 2023 that she had the opportunity to successfully transition.

"I worked 2-3 jobs at the same time to save up to make my dream come true. All the money I used to transition was earned by myself and my family did not support me much in this journey," said Tuong San.

In 2024, this beauty was nominated to represent Vietnam at Miss International Queen 2024. In the contest, Tuong San won a total of 5 subsidiary awards including: Best National Costume, Best Semi-Final Performance, Miss Photogenic, Miss Media, and Most Beautiful Skin.

Since childhood, Tuong San has felt the difference in herself. Although she has the body of a boy, Tuong San likes to play girls' games, loves to wear dresses and high heels. She also has special feelings for people of the same sex.

Tuong San spent her childhood with the question: "Who am I?". When she was young, Tuong San looked like a normal boy. But when she grew up, she became more graceful and had long hair. She once shared an ID photo that surprised many people because before her gender transition, Tuong San looked very pretty and feminine.

Until the age of 14, when she saw Huong Giang crowned Miss International Transgender 2018, Tuong San had her answer. She loved the contest, felt she was suitable, and wanted to improve herself both in beauty and knowledge. Tuong San decided to change gender because she wanted her life to be meaningful and to fulfill her dream like her senior.

Because she is the eldest grandchild, Tuong San felt a bit of pressure. But after all, she overcame that pressure to be herself, because San's desire to be a girl was so great. When she said she wanted to change gender, San's parents did not support her, but did not object either.

Despite many hardships and difficulties, San did not give up. When she turned 18, Tuong San went on her own to fulfill her dream of becoming a girl. After only 12 days of transitioning, she registered to participate in the Miss Transgender Vietnam 2022 contest and won the first runner-up prize, and was also selected to represent Vietnam in international competitions.
