Miss Grand International 2024 is like a 'market', another extremely tense drama, is Que Anh wary?

Ahead of the 2024 National Costume competition, the Miss Grand International homepage suddenly made a striking announcement. Accordingly, Kateryna Bilyk - the representative of Ukraine officially withdrew from the competition, ending her journey to conquer the noble crown.

Miss Grand International shared, roughly translated: We regret to announce that Kateryna Bilyk - Miss Grand Ukraine has officially withdrawn from the Miss Grand International 2024 contest. This decision is the result of her violating some terms stated in the contestant agreement that she acknowledged and signed before entering the contest. Miss Grand International said that the contest values professionalism and expects contestants to adhere to the principles set forth.

Before the official announcement was made on the contest website, the Ukrainian representative posted a long status on her personal page, revealing that she had dropped out of the competition before the semi-final night. Following that, the beauty bluntly accused Miss Grand International.

Beauty Kateryna Bilyk said she still had to participate in activities from morning to night despite having a high fever. The Ukrainian representative was given a medicine that could cause allergies by the Organizing Committee. She even said that when she fainted, she still had to continue her schedule and did not receive emergency care.

Kateryna Bilyk believes that the Miss Grand International Organizing Committee has the responsibility to take care of the contestants as stated in the signed contract. However, she has been working too hard, causing her health and spirit to decline. The Ukrainian representative also revealed that the Organizing Committee had confiscated her passport and she was not allowed to move freely when the contest took place in the first days in Cambodia.

The back-and-forth between Miss Grand International and the Ukrainian representative has stirred up the public. This is the second time this has happened. Previously, Mr. Nawat and Miss Grand Cambodia also had a similar fight after the Miss Grand International 2024 season was canceled in Cambodia.

Revolving around the incident of Miss Grand International and the Ukrainian representative, the beauty returned home. However, what attracted more attention was that she hired a lawyer and compiled photos, videos and documents to sue the Organizing Committee.

In the Country's Power Of The Year category, Miss Que Anh - Vietnam's representative - excellently entered the top 20 contestants with the highest number of votes. It is known that the winner will automatically be specially qualified to the final top 20.

At the Miss Grand International contest in both seasons 2022 - 2023, the Vietnamese representative was in the list of top 2 contestants with a large number of votes. In 2022, Miss Doan Thien An also excellently won this award.

Miss Popularity category within the framework of Miss Grand International 2024, Miss Que Anh is also in the top 10 contestants with the highest number of votes. However, she is in the second-to-last position on this list. Miss Que Anh only owns a modest 1% of the votes, a large gap with the representatives of Myanmar and Indonesia.
