Miss Cosmo 2024: Contestants participate in charity golf tournament, donate nearly 2.5 billion

After activities spanning from North to South in major cities such as Hanoi, Ninh Binh, and Da Lat, Miss Cosmo 2024 contestants continued to Long An, continuing their journey of experiencing and exploring Vietnam.

After a memorable time with activities in Da Lat, the next destination of the Miss Cosmo 2024 beauties is Long An city - known as the "gateway to the West". Long An is a province rich in tradition and culture of Vietnam, a place that marks many heroic pages of the nation's history, with its idyllic natural beauty. Within the framework of Miss Cosmo 2024's activities, Long An province is the first destination of the Southern region in the next journey of the contest.

Incense offering activity

Coming to Long An, the beauties had the opportunity to visit and, together with the Long An Provincial Leadership Board, the Board of Directors of Hoan Cau Long An Company Limited and representatives of the Miss Cosmo organization, participate in the incense offering ceremony at the temple of Lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho as well as the Victory Monument, as a way to show respect to those who have protected the peace of Vietnam.

Meeting with Long An Provincial People's Committee

In addition, the beauties of Miss Cosmo 2024 were also welcomed and had the opportunity to meet and talk with the leaders of Long An province, including: Mr. Hoang Dinh Can - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of Long An province, Mr. Pham Tan Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Long An province, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Long An province, Ms. Dang Thi Thanh Huyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Long An province, Mr. Huynh Cao Chanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Long An province.

At the People's Committee of Long An province, the beauties shared their sincere stories about their journey at Miss Cosmo 2024. Afterwards, the contestants were presented with scarves - familiar items with deep cultural and historical significance, closely associated with the people of the Mekong Delta.

Ecotourism

During their journey in Long An, the contestants were also welcomed by the management board of the solar power plant - Vietnam Solar, the Hoan Vu Yen bird's nest production area belonging to the ecosystem of the Vietnam Royal Investment Joint Stock Company. Through that, the beauties could clearly see the industrial and economic development of this land.

Giving gifts to poor but studious students

Coming to Miss Cosmo 2024, the contestants also participated in many meaningful charity activities with positive humanitarian values. In Long An, the contest's Organizing Committee organized a scholarship program for poor but studious students in Binh Hoa Nam - Binh Hoa Hung communes, Duc Hue district, Long An province. This is not only a humanitarian activity of the contest but also a connection between knowledge, compassion and the spirit of overcoming difficulties of the students.

Participate in Golf tournament and charity auction Gala night

Another interesting activity of Miss Cosmo 2024 in Long An is the Cosmo Charity Golf Tournament 2024 at the international golf course - Royal Long An Golf & Villas. Along with the tournament is the charity auction Gala program, all the money from the auction and donations from sponsors are used entirely for the charity activities of the Miss Cosmo organization. In this program, the money will be used to help improve the lives of people affected by storms and floods in the northern provinces of Vietnam. The auction Gala night also has the participation of 2 runners-up of Miss Universe Vietnam, Runner-up Thao Nhi Le and Runner-up Hoang Nhung.

The Gala took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Guests expressed their emotions when looking back at the clips and images of the organization's charitable activities.

In addition, the products put up for auction were also extremely impressive. The painting "Warm and Prosperous Season" depicting the rice fields and farmers in the autumn was extremely impressive with the frame signed by all the contestants of Miss Cosmo 2024 and was auctioned for 300 million VND. The next item was the Hong Sa tea set made by Bat Trang ceramic artisans and was auctioned for 180 million VND. The exclusive golf product set signed by world golf legend - Sir Nick Faldo was successfully auctioned for 125 million VND.

At the end of the charity program, the total amount of money donated by sponsors and brands reached 2 billion 375 million VND, adding motivation and spirit of mutual love and sharing of the Miss Cosmo organization in the journey to bring good values to the community.
