Miss India was defamed by Miss Cosmo's crew, her response was shocking

In recent days, nearly 60 contestants from countries and territories around the world have arrived in Vietnam to participate in Miss Cosmo 2024. As this is the first year of organization, the contest has received attention from both domestic and international audiences.

Most recently, the incident of Miss Cosmo 2024's makeup artist loudly and rudely addressing the Indian representative backstage made people angry.

Specifically, while doing her makeup to prepare for the fashion show on the afternoon of September 20 in Ninh Binh, Rajashree Dowarah livestreamed to chat with fans. The incident would not have been worth mentioning if a staff member in the makeup support team of Miss Cosmo 2024 had shown discomfort and used rude and impolite language towards the international contestant, the entire moment was clearly shown on the livestream.

The situation is that Rajashree Dowarah was not satisfied because her eye makeup was uneven and incomplete, so she asked the staff there to fix it. However, this person called Rajashree Dowarah "it" extremely disrespectfully and said in an annoyed tone: "Tell her what she wants, tell her to hurry up so she can do it for others. She keeps torturing me. There is no time, time is up. I have made her beautiful, someone help me fix it, I have a headache with her". The conversation shows the lack of professionalism, irresponsibility and impoliteness of the makeup staff towards the international contestant, making both Vietnamese and Indian fans angry.

Immediately after this incident became public, an account owner named TD - who claimed to be a makeup artist for Miss Cosmo India - apologized and announced his departure from the contest team. This person explained: "Today, while working, I spoke loudly to Miss India, so I apologize to you and to everyone, your fans. I also apologize to the two teachers and the organizing committee. I promise not to let something like today happen again, this is also a lesson for me, I apologize to everyone very much. While working, I always support you with all my heart and I also support the other Miss contestants with all my heart. While working, I accidentally spoke loudly, not intentionally offending you, I am also very sad, I hope everyone, your fans, will forgive me. And I ask for permission from the two teachers and the organizing committee to allow me to withdraw from the team this time. I apologize to everyone very much."

On Quan Nguyen - Pu Le's side, the makeup team's representative also spoke up to clearly express his opinion: "Quan Pu would like to apologize to everyone on behalf of the team. Quan Pu will not let this happen again. I sincerely apologize to everyone on behalf of the team."

By the evening of the same day, Miss Cosmo India posted on her personal page to hope that netizens would stop attacking the makeup artist and the Miss Cosmo 2024 organizers. She said that the reason for this incident could be that the two did not understand each other due to the language barrier. "To all my dearest friends and family. I know language can be a barrier at times, but what really matters is how we support and cooperate with each other with kindness. I am extremely grateful for all the support. Initially, I had a little difficulty communicating with the artist, but in the end everything was perfect. The makeup team was really amazing. I had a great performance today. Let's continue to spread kindness and positivity," Rajashree Dowarah expressed.

Rajashree Dowarah is 25 years old and is one of the outstanding contestants of the contest. Miss Cosmo India is currently a master of clinical research at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). In addition to working as a model, host, and community activist, she is also an inspirational speaker and personal development consultant for many projects in the country.

Miss Cosmo 2024 is an international beauty pageant held for the first time in Vietnam, with the participation of 59 contestants from all over the world. Vietnam's representative is Bui Thi Xuan Hanh.
