Minglai: The Under The Hood leader stops at the Breakthrough round, ceding all his aura to Liu Grace

With great rapping skills and unique flow that is extremely burning, after the performance of "In the Mist" at "Rap Viet" season 3, rapper Minh Lai has "stormed" on social networks recently.

NicoLai or Rapper Minh Lai, whose real name is Tran Van Lai Minh, is a talented rapper in the South. He was born in 1996 in Da Lat city and currently lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City. Minh Lai's height is about 1.74m with a very "gangz" and masculine appearance.

He became aware of hip hop and rap music in 2010. At that time, he was just a high school boy but began to practice songwriting, practicing how to play rap. His time as a barber starting in 2019 has helped Minh Lai get closer to rap, as this profession often has a very close working environment and is related to hip hop.

On 31/12/2018, Minh Lai founded " Under The Hood", a group gathering friends and brothers with the same passion to make music. At first, everything was quite new and little known, most people just wanted to find "allies" to create sounds and lyrics according to their preferences.
