"It's not like every song is controversial. But I'm glad it's 'controversial' because of the content of the song, not because my song sounds like someone else's music," Mew shared.

Speaking of controversy, while writing music, Mew often has a questioning style: "Why does writing sound so awkward?", that's the kind of lyrics that it's okay to say, but when applied to the melody, the lyrics. then it sounds wrong. Mew understands the difficulty of Vietnamese musicians, when the audience listens to a song, they default to elaborate lyrics, even if it's entertaining, it can't be too much and "rude" like: "Let's party tonight. Put your hands up" of foreign songs.

"There is a certain bias here: when listening to foreign music, it is very easy to accept the word 'stupid', even though in the native country, the audience of that country is still "biting" each other. because of the lyrics of that song and vice versa: sometimes simple songs in Vietnam become a phenomenon abroad simply because the audience now accepts the song simply through the melody. , with a music that we grew up with, watching the flow of change is more difficult, demanding than obvious.

"There are fandoms that I feel are so loyal to the point that they think the artist is always right. God, they're satisfied, they're happy, they're happy with everything.
