At the age of 20, Ly Tu Ky, who had just entered the entertainment industry not long ago, accepted to marry her first husband, forensic doctor Diep Chi Bang. 3 years later, she gave birth to her first daughter, Diep Tu Thanh.

In 1992, Ly Tu Ky remarried to Ha Vi Cuong. Unlike the first marriage, the second husband loved her dearly, but in the end, both of them could not avoid breaking up. After many years, still unable to hold onto the other half's heart, Ly Tu Ky decided to "go their separate ways" in 1999.
