The incident began with a worried missing person notice on social media on February 22nd. CVB's sister (25 years old, residing in Kbang district, Gia Lai province) said that her brother had completely lost contact after leaving home on the evening of the 4th day of Tet (February 20th). According to the investigation records, on the afternoon of February 20th, Mr. B. drove his motorbike carrying Ms. H. away from home. Afterwards, he decided to rent a Kia Morning car to continue their spring outing with his companion. No one could have imagined that this would be the last trip for the two young people.

Data extracted from the vehicle's dashcam is the most vivid "witness" recounting the terrifying moment. In the early morning of February 21st, the vehicle was traveling on Provincial Road 636 from East to West. Upon reaching a curve in Phu Lac village, due to losing control of the vehicle's speed in the dark, the driver lost control completely.

Footage shows the vehicle crashing violently into a road signpost on the left side of the road before plunging into the deep Van Phong canal. The incident happened so quickly that the victims had no time to react or escape.

Expensive lessons learned behind the wheel.

This incident is not only a tremendous loss for the victim's family but also a stark warning to drivers during the Lunar New Year holiday. Driving on unfamiliar roads, especially at night on curves, poses extremely high risks if speed and concentration are not properly controlled.
