Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen has just been crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 and is preparing to compete in the Miss Universe contest held in Mexico, causing a stir among beauty fans on social media.

Accordingly, Ms. Thuy Nga - Hea.d of the Organizing Committee (OC), Board of Judges (BGK) of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 shared directly with the media about this. Specifically, she shared: "I first met Ky Duyen 8 years ago, also had some discussions and gave her some advice about work, but after that everyone was busy so we only met occasionally at events. This time when Ky Duyen returned to the Miss Universe Vietnam contest, I felt that she had matured a lot. She is mature in her speech, in her style, in her lifestyle and especially a very intelligent and individualistic gir.l. I think Duyen will gradually conquer what she wants".

"We have a very good grasp of each contestant's background and we also comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism such as contestants must be 18 years of ag.e or older and have a high school diploma. I see many people set their own standards for beauty queens that they must have a university degree and be good at English. It's okay for a beauty to graduate from university, but not graduating from university doesn't mean they're not good or can't develop. Ms. Thuy Nga emphasized: "As someone who grew up in a family that highly values education, I always pay attention to encouraging employees and candidates to focus on improving their knowledge when possible. However, in this era, we can improve our knowledge through many channels such as reading and learning online, through experiences in life, at work... I do not encourage students not to study, on the contrary, students who have worked with me can confirm that I always encourage them to study and improve their knowledge as much as possible.

At Miss Vietnam 2014, Ky Duyen was only 18 years old and was a first-year student of the Foreign Economic Relations Faculty of the Foreign Trade University. In the entrance exam that year, Ky Duyen chose the D03 group of 3 subjects: Math, Literature and French to register for admission. The beauty born in 1996 achieved scores of 7, 7 and 8.5 respectively.
