Based on the novel of the same name by author Han Sang-woon, "Influenza" is set in an air defense unit located in a high-rise building in Seoul, depicting how soldier Jae Yoon and his girlfriend Yeong Joo run towards each other while fighting against zombies.

If nothing changes, Jisoo will play Young Joo, who has just reintegrated into society and desperately needs protection, especially since his breakup with Jae Yoon (expected Park Jung Min). During a trip out of the house to try to meet Jae Yoon, Young Joo suddenly encounters zombies, sparking a change inside her as she fights for survival.

"Influenza" was penned by writers Han Ji Won and Ji Ho Jin, produced by Blade Entertainment and aired on Coupang Play. Yoon Seong Hyun is directing. Notably, Han Ji Won is the writer of the hit work "Parasite" that won 4 Oscars in 2020.
