On the morning of March 31, News1 reported that K-pop idol Jennie (Blackpink) will release her solo album on June 6. "While focusing on the production of the album, she is also putting a lot of effort into planning her solo career after the release of the album," News1 wrote.

Jennie debuted as a Blackpink member in August 2016 and has emerged as a global star through group activities. Jennie is also the first member of Blackpink to go solo, with her debut single "Solo" released in November 2018.
