Previously, Ms. Hoang Thi Huong was a famous figure on social networks with many scandals. She is known as the General Director of Hoang Huong Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, and also the owner of Hoang Huong Confident Smile International Dental Clinic in Hanoi.

Before being proposed to handle advertising violations for the information page named "Genuine Hoang Huong Meli Pharmaceuticals", Ms. Hoang Thi Huong also encountered many controversies.

Already punished but still 'at large'

Hoang Huong Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company was established in 2021, then became famous for its livestream advertisements selling herbal medicine for bone and joint diseases and mouthwash with overly "flattering" words about the product's uses.

In 2022, in a livestream introducing Hoang Huong joint pill product, Ms. Huong said: "I can solve all kinds of pain related to joints from head to toe. I don't confirm that taking 1 dose will cure it, but just taking it for 1-2 weeks will cure 50-60%. For those with severe cases, it will be cured in 2 months... no matter how much joint pain you have."

The "divine" advertisements have won the trust of many people. Although the product is expensive, with the mentality of "when sick, pray to all directions", many people have spent millions of dong to use a course of Hoang Huong bone and joint pills.

After causing a stir on the "internet" with "explosive" advertisements, on April 13, 2022, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) fined Hoang Huong Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 65 million VND for violations in advertising health protection food products, misleading advertising of effects like medicine.

Although it was fined, just one month later, the company continued to violate the law. The Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) issued a warning about the health protection food Hoang Huong bone and joint pills and Hoang Huong blood circulation pills violating the law on advertising.

It seemed that after many reminders and penalties, the company would learn its lesson. However, recently, the video of businesswoman Hoang Huong was "attached" by the Food Safety Department in a warning about advertising the health protection food Crilin Women Health, which has misleading advertising content that the product has the effect of a medicine.

In the promotional video for this health food, Ms. Huong said: "The product has been recognized by the world scientific council, so everyone can rest assured."

Offensive statements to fellow countrymen

Not only stopping at violations in the field of advertising, Ms. Hoang Huong continued to stir up public opinion in early 2023 when she made negative statements about the Mong ethnic community in Ha Giang during a livestream.
