The act of slander can be done through forms such as word of mouth, writing articles, sending petitions, denunciation letters, anonymous letters... As a result, the victim loses reputation, honor or suffers damage. harm their legitimate rights and interests.

The crime of slander is considered complete when the offender commits the act of spreading fabricated things to others or reporting to a state agency about the other person's crime.

Therefore, in the form of writing a letter of denunciation or going online to fabricate untrue information about male artist Hoai Linh; affecting the honor and dignity of male artists, causing confusion in public opinion, this behavior can be handled.

Specifically, according to the provisions of Article 156 of the Penal Code 2015 (amended and supplemented in 2017), the crime of slander is as follows: Those who commit one of the following acts shall be subject to a fine of from 10,000 000 VND to 50,000,000 VND, subject to non-custodial reform for up to 2 years or imprisonment from 3 months to 1 year:

a) Fabricating or spreading things that are known to be untrue in order to seriously offend the dignity and honor or cause damage to the lawful rights and interests of others;

b) Making up other people to commit crimes and denouncing them to competent authorities.

Immediately after the news that Hoai Linh was vindicated, the most mentioned name was Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang because before that, the female giant in Binh Duong repeatedly called the male comedian's name into the charity grove.
