Hoa Minzy speaks out when she is called avaricious for only playing with celebrities

Hoa Minzy recently opened up about many confidants on the livestream after little Bo went abroad to visit his father. She also spoke out about being seen by many people as avaricious, only playing with celebrities.

On the evening of March 3, Hoa Minzy had a livestream chat with fans on her personal TikTok page. The singer said that 2024 is the milestone of celebrating 10 years of artistic activity, so there will be many huge projects that make fans excited and waiting.

Hoa Minzy also expressed that she often reads comments from the audience, whether complimenting or criticizing, she is still ready to receive it. However, she expressed frustration and annoyance when many people thought that she was avaricious, choosing only famous people to make friends with.

"I know I have a lot of anti-fans. But there are many things I find absurd, such as playing with friends but being considered avaricious. If I take advantage of my reputation, take pictures or record with them constantly, the other person is annoyed, then that is avarice.

A lot of people say I only play with people who are famous, when they have problems, I turn away. During my 10 years in the profession, I made a lot of noise and always reminded my friends not to protect me. When I have a bad impression, my advocate is also affected. When my friends are noisy, I do the same, always comforting me from behind. I've never quit playing with anyone in the past," Hoa Minzy said.

Hoa Minzy is considered a "diplomatic singer" of Vietnamese showbiz. The singer has been close to many artists, most famously the group Hibiscus Flowers with Blessed and Erik. In addition, the vocalist cannot be together for a lifetime close to the Van Toan, Van Hau, Quang Hai players... On New Year's Day, the singer was interested when she posted a video of her son being celebrated by the players' association. Perhaps it is also because of the close relationship with many teammates of the former love that Hoa Minzy has suffered many bad reputations.

"Why playing with my friends is called fame? Fame avarice here is to see a celebrity, I play with people to take advantage by taking pictures, posting pictures that constantly make the other person uncomfortable and avoid. But I'm very sociable, friendly, to the point where I'm a little warm at times. So everybody likes to play and talk to me. On the contrary, I also like to talk to people and thereby form groups of friends. Being close isn't easy. To do so must come from sincere affection. That can't be called fame," Hoa Minzy expressed.

"A lot of people even say I only play with celebrities and play when they're famous. And when they have a problem, I don't play with them anymore. But I've never quit hanging out with anyone in the past. I have had a lot of drama during my 10 years in the profession. But I always have to remind people never to speak up to defend me. Because once I had a bad impression, the people around me were also affected. When my friends have problems, I will always encourage and comfort them from behind. I don't defend it publicly because I'm already hated. My friend is also being hated so if I speak up, the online community hates my friend even more," the singer added.

The reason for having a livestream with many shares like this comes from the fact that vocalist Thi Mau hopes to feel less sad and empty because she has just brought baby Bo - to Australia with her biological father Minh Hai. Her kid would be there for over a month. Due to being busy at work and wanting the father and son to have their own space, the singer did not come along.
