According to Dan Truong, at first he thought of many famous names but at that time only Y Nhi and Tuan Ngoc had free schedules and were suitable to participate in the MV.

"Nhi and Ngoc have the chance to work with me this time. Luckily, both of them are very suitable faces to play ancient characters. Although they have no acting experience, Y Nhi is eager to learn, diligent in researching, and tries to do well in the assigned roles," Dan Truong commented.

Commenting on Tuan Ngoc, Dan Truong praised the male king for his good acting, charismatic face, and knowledge of martial arts, so he did not need an instructor for action scenes or sword dancing. According to Dan Truong, during the filming of the MV, he, Y Nhi, and Tuan Ngoc had unforgettable, funny conversations. The singer plans to release a behind-the-scenes video in the near future, sharing the process of making the MV with fans.

Don't Love Memories revolves around a love triangle, two boys love the same gir.l. Dan Truong and Y Nhi transform into a pair of childhood friends, have romantic scenes, practice martial arts together. However, when the character played by Mr. World Vietnam 2024 Tuan Ngoc appears, everything gradually changes. Y Nhi's character is conquered by a new person, gradually changes her heart, and becomes cold towards her ex.

According to Dan Truong, the MV "Don't Love Memories" is his opening music project for 2025. Regarding the reason for deciding to make a historical MV at this time, the singer said that everything came by chance. When recording the song, singing in a young music style, "Mr. Bo" felt that the song's content was suitable for a historical MV. After making both the young music and historical versions, Dan Truong considered and chose to make a product that mixed modern elements with martial arts and fairy tales.
