Miss Phuong Khanh "follows in Thanh Thuy's footsteps" and decides to donate organs before the ag.e of 30.

In 2018, Phuong Khanh won the title of Miss Earth at the international pageant. Until now, no Vietnamese representative has been able to achieve the same results as the beauty.

On November 27, Miss Phuong Khanh surprised everyone when she announced that she had donated her organs. She said that this was one of the things on her wish list before turning 30. It is known that she went to the temple to register to donate her organs with her assistant that morning.

"Khanh shared and waited for her family's consent before registering to donate her organs. Our bodies will eventually return to dust and giving them away so that other lives can continue is a wonderful thing. Khanh registered to donate her organs at a temple in District 10. Here, the staff are always enthusiastic in guiding her on how to register," the beauty shared.

After publicly registering to donate organs, Miss Phuong Khanh received attention and interest from the audience. Before making an important decision, the beauty had many health problems. Early last year, Miss Phuong Khanh said that she had just overcome depression after 5 years of treatment. Specifically, the beauty said: "I used to think that the end would be easy, but now I know that overcoming and living on is a wonderful thing and you can help many people like you." Two months later, Phuong Khanh continued to share that she had hyperthyroidism, luckily she was able to see a doctor at the right time or her condition would have gotten worse. After a year of treatment for the disease, the famous beauty queen has become more radiant and full of life.

Miss Phuong Khanh currently has a peaceful and quiet private life. She spends a lot of time developing her passion for teaching embossed wool embroidery. Besides, the beauty is still active in the fashion industry and is enthusiastically sought after by many designers. In early November, it was the 6th anniversary of her coronation at Miss Earth. On this day, she could not hide her emotion when recalling the past: "6 years since the day I first wore it. It feels like it was just yesterday. In Vietnamese showbiz, not only Phuong Khanh, Miss Vietnam 2022 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy and Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh also registered to donate organs. Earlier this year, these two beauty queens attended the launching ceremony of "Register to donate organs and tissues - Giving is forever" held in Hanoi. Both beauty queens appeared in traditional ao dai, as Goodwill Ambassadors of the program.

Miss Vietnam Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy said she was honored to attend such a meaningful event on the occasion of the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.

Here, she also registered to donate organs with the desire to spread the noble meaning of organ donation, as well as contribute to helping patients in need.

"Accompanying this program, I want to contribute and spread the noble meaning of organ and tissue donation. A brain-dead person donating multiple organs can save many people. Let's join hands for patients in need of help," Thanh Thuy said.

Miss Do My Linh also registered to donate organs at Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC). Since then, Do My Linh has continuously participated in charitable activities, actively contributing to the community.

Do My Linh said that although she had registered to donate organs a long time ago, she was still very excited to participate in the launching ceremony of "Register to donate organs and tissues - Giving is forever", because she understood that she could contribute to conveying the meaningful message of the program.

"Hopefully the organ donation movement to save lives will become stronger, more applications will be sent in and there will be more successful organ transplants," said Miss Do My Linh.
