In 2018, Jo Ha Eun started participating in beauty pageants. She won first place at the Miss Green Urban Korea pageant, then won the first prize at the Miss Blue Korea finals the same year. In 2020, Jo Ha Eun participated in the Miss Korea Seoul Regional pageant and won, advancing to the final round of Miss Korea. However, Jo Ha Eun did not rank high at the Miss Korea 2020 pageant.

Notably, after being denounced as a "little tam" by Hwang Jung Eum and criticized on social media, Jo Ha Eun immediately took action against him. She denies that she is having an affair with Lee Young Don that Hwang Jung Eum is attacking. The beauty said Lee Young Don has been the nickname of the female friend in her group for the past 2 years.

"Hwang Jung Eum misunderstood the name 'Lee Young Don' in my post to be her husband. I'm not related to Lee Young Don, I only found out he was Hwang Jung Eum's husband after reading the divorce news. After Jo Ha Eun's statement, Hwang Jung Eum apologized for the post that exposed her identity, which affected her ordinary people. "There was a misunderstanding while I was sorting things out. I sincerely apologize for causing harm to the person involved and those around her. I have also contacted the affected party directly to apologize.
