Miss America Organizing Committee starved contestants, poorly organized, and the new beauty queen was favored?

Miss New York City 2010 attracted much attention when she suddenly turned away from her professional artistic career to build a family life with the son of an airline billionaire.
The decision to leave the city to farm seemed to go against modern trends, but it opened a new chapter in Hannah's life - where she combined traditional values with the aesthetic foundation and discipline from ballet to build her personal brand and lifestyle in the digital age.
Through her social media account â Ballerina Farm ,â where she shares her daily life on the farmâfrom milking, making butter, baking, to caring for her childrenâHannah has attracted millions of followers on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. At 35, she has become one of Americaâs most famous âstay-at-home moms,â not because of her flashy style, but because of her traditional, simple, and purposeful way of life.
Through her own lens, Hannah embodies the ideal old-fashioned American mother: wearing a long-sleeved dress, an apron, and a bright smile whether pulling cows, fermenting butter, or holding her baby. The contrast between her fairy-tale princess appearance and her dirty work makes her approachable and inspiring.
Hannah met her husband, Daniel Neeleman, son of aviation billionaire David Neeleman, in the early 2010s. After a brief courtship, they married and moved to South America to help with their family business. While living in Brazil, they were fascinated by the rural model of natural farming: cows and pigs roamed the forest, eating fallen fruit instead of industrial feed. This experience planted the seeds of their dream of farming and living close to nature, which became the foundation for Ballerina Farm when they returned to the United States.
In Utah, they bought land and founded Ballerina Farmâa name that both evoked Hannahâs ballet past and reflected the softness and femininity of their farming life. The couple raised their children in a traditional way: no nannies, homeschooling, and giving birth without painkillers.
Notably, Hannah was the first student at Juilliard to become pregnant while studying â a situation that put her in a difficult position of having to choose between art and family. However, instead of giving up her passion, she chose to bring the discipline and aesthetics of ballet into her daily life on the farm.
In 2018, a massive bushfire destroyed the familyâs first property. Hannah and Daniel were forced to sell their original land and move to Kamas, where they started from scratch. It was here that Ballerina Farm began to thrive, both socially and commercially.
Today, Ballerina Farm operates as a modern family business with a team of dozens of employees from farmers, warehouse staff to media. They invest in advanced equipment systems for livestock farming and food processing, including modern milking lines, factories processing dairy products such as butter, cheese, cream... following models learned from France and Ireland.
In addition to farm products, Ballerina Farm also sells croissants, handmade wreaths, and cowboy boots â all with a strong American country feel. Each stage of production is oriented towards the criteria of ânatural â handmade â aestheticâ, true to Hannahâs philosophy of life.
In August 2023, while pregnant with her eighth child, Hannah Neeleman was crowned Mrs. American â a pageant within the Mrs. America system. She had previously won the crowns of Miss New York City 2010 and Mrs. Utah 2021 .
In early 2024, just two weeks after giving birth, Hannah continued to represent the United States in the Mrs. World pageant, attracting attention for her image of a woman who had just given birth but was still confident and courageous on stage. For many, her journey is a symbol of the ability to reconcile the roles of motherhood, wifehood and affirming personal values in the new era.
However, not everyone agrees with the image Hannah has created. Some opinions on social media and the media have suggested that her lifestyle, while inspiring, is a reflection of financial privilege and social background that not everyone has. Not every woman has the economic means, a supportive husband or easy access to media to live such an ideal life.
Yet, for many, Hannah Neeleman represents the choice of living intentionally in modern times â abandoning popular standards of success such as status, fame or high income in favor of a life close to nature, family and sustainable spiritual values.
