Ho Hoai Anh: career regressed because of concussion scandal, broken with Liu Xiangjiang

Ho Hoai Anh used to be one of the most popular musicians in Vietnamese showbiz. He is not only famous for his talent but also made many people admire when he once had a dream-like love with the beautiful singer Liu Xiangjiang.

Ho Hoai Anh was born in 1979 in Hanoi into a family with artistic traditions. His mother is artist Thanh Tam, former head of the department of ethnic musical instruments at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. She is also the first People's Artist of Vietnam to be credited with the gourd instrument.

He has composed many young songs that are loved by many people such as: Despite Mistakes, Colorful Love, Confident Girl, With You, Radio, Carrying Vegetables, Regret ... Thanks to his compositions, he has made his mark in the hearts of the audience and collected many achievements.

Right from the age of 7, Ho Hoai Anh began to be acquainted with gourds. At the age of 13, Ho Hoai Anh went to Japan to participate in the Asia-Pacific Children's Music Festival. At the age of 18, Hoai Anh won the first prize in the National Ethnic Instrument Solo Competition in 1998.

At the age of 20, Ho Hoai Anh was fortunate enough to bring the gourd guitar to tour many countries around the world. After that, he was an accordion instructor at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

In addition to his passion for traditional musical instruments, musician Ho Hoai Anh soon showed his talent for composing.

He won the "Most Popular Musician" award at the 2005 Green Wave Awards and the 2006 Golden Plum Awards. Later, Ho Hoai Anh became a judge for many big programs such as: Vietnam Idol 2008, Sao Mai rendezvous 2010, Sing My Song season 2 and coach of "Vietnamese Children's Voice" all 3 seasons.

In 2015, Ho Hoai Anh was honored to be awarded the title of elite artist. He has composed many songs such as Dew Drops and the Leaf, Despite Mistakes... He holds a master's degree in music.

He also holds the position of Production Director, Music Director of a series of gameshow on television such as Vietnamese Voice, Favorite Song, King of Rap ... In 2015, Ho Hoai Anh was awarded the title of Elite Artist.

He is not only famous for his artistic talent but also has a beautiful love affair with the popular singer Liu Huong Giang.

In 2004, when he needed to find a studio for a new music project, Luu Huong Giang was introduced to Ho Hoai Anh's studio by his sister, musician Luu Thien Huong. The two began to get to know each other from then on and gradually developed feelings for each other. After about 5 years of research, Liu Huong Giang and Ho Hoai Anh decided to return to the same house. The two married in 2009 and have two daughters together Ho Khanh Ha (Mina) and Ho Tu Anh (Misu). When he first shared his love with Liu Xiangjiang, Hu Huaiying happily said, "Love Jiang because he sees Jiang good."

It was thought that after nearly 2 decades together, the couple would be understanding enough and together for life, but in October 2019, the news that Ho Hoai Anh and Liu Huong Giang divorced alji spread widely in the media. The musician and his wife both admitted to marital problems that led to them going to court. However, at this time, Ho Hoai Anh's wife affirmed that the divorce of the couple happened for a long time when the two were disoriented and had no solution.

In 2022, Spanish media reported that two Vietnamese men raped a 17-year-old British girl on the island of Mallorca. The audience was confused when many information said that those 2 people were musician Ho Hoai Anh and actor Hong Dang. After detention, investigation and processing, the two returned to the country on August 7.

After the scandal that year, Ho Hoai Anh was "silent" for a long time. He took time off from his job without pay before retiring from the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Despite this, he is still active in art but does not appear in front of the media. He was once seen attending the concert of Mars Anh Tu, named in the concert product team of Hoang Thuy Linh...
