Hanzi was once known as a student of SOOBIN Hoang Son when participating in the 2017 Junior Vietnamese Voice program. Up to now, she has successfully "broken the cocoon" and officially launched a music product.
The music market near the end of the year has become busier than ever with the landing of talented young rookies, with many special colors. In contrast to this diversity, a great challenge for many young singers has been posed when they have to find their own musical orientation and quality to make a clear impression in the hearts of the audience.
On October 10, Hanzi - a rookie of Sony Music Vietnam released a debut MV titled Anh Go Somewhere. The 17-year-old female singer brings a bright song, with the usual "fluffy" love message. According to revelations, Hanzi's product this time is sponsored by the record label up to 1 billion VND to bring an international standard music and image experience.
In her debut to the fan audience, Hanzi did not hesitate to sho.w her dancing ability. According to the female singer, the image Hanzi is aiming for is omnipotence when she can both take on the vocal part but will also "balance" the elements of a professional performer.
Pursuing the Y2K style with the interweaving of the breath of time and the beauty of modernity, Hanzi appeared with beautiful visuals right in the first footage of the MV. The meeting at the pickleball court is like an "ace", bringing a childish and vibrant story of love through a series of catchy melodies.
"Blowing" the thoughts from the public because of her gentle appearance or MV colors with sweet tones, Hanzi has gone somewhere with Anh to create a dynamic mix, in line with the spirit of the year-end "festive seasons". The harmonious interweaving of music and images has made the song satisfying both the listening and the visual part for the viewers.
In addition to the somewhat bold but also "feminine" fashion elements, Hanzi also makes a big turning point compared to other music products on the market thanks to the eye-catching visual effect.
Using world-class technology, Anh goes somewhere to take viewers into the fairytale garden of love with a clear depiction through each change in the emotions of Hanzi and his co-stars.
For those who are fans of SOOBIN, it is not difficult to realize that Hanzi was once the favorite student of the "ballad prince" at the Vietnamese Children's Voice in 2017. Hanzi even once called SOOBIN with the nickname "ba". That year, Hanzi reached the top 8 in the final. At the end of the program, she decided to study music intensively. Excellent SOOBIN student became valedictorian at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. HCM.
After many years, she still has great affection for her "teacher". Hanzi recalled: "Maybe it's been a long time since I and Coach SOOBIN met, but I still remember my father's advice 7 years ago to me that I hope that I will always keep my love and passion for music and will always try to help when I need it."
Deciding to officially debut, this 17-year-old female singer chose the new wave pop, RnB and ballad genres to pursue, along with focusing on building music according to the new trends of the world, focusing on attractive melodies.
She also said that she was not too pressured to be known by people early, instead she was grateful and lucky to be loved and cared for by the public.
"At the beginning, everything was very new to me, I am still and will always want to learn more so that I can develop further. Competition is not what I care about the most. Instead, I believe that each artist has a unique path and mission to shine," Hanzi said.
The MV "Where Do I Go" is an important milestone for the female rookie to mark her image with the audience. However, with trendy music of less than 3 minutes and the Y2K concept that is saturated in Kpop, this move is quite risky for Hanzi to impress.
Over the past time, Gen Z Vietnam has developed strongly with separate experiments and compositions with bold personal imprints. He Goes Somewhere, although well-groomed in terms of visuals, brings the feeling of "industrial chicken" that can be seen in any Kpop MV. Therefore, this debut needs time to conquer the audience.
In response to questions from the public about Hanzi still "sitting in school", a representative of Sony Music said that the company still prioritizes education and health standards for "chickens" to aim for sustainable development when the MV "Anh Goes Where" was made when the singer was on summer vacation.
"Due to a number of problems that have caused Hanzi to lose weight control, the filming schedule has had to be adjusted constantly to get her back in the best shape. Hanzi had to lose 8 kg within 8 weeks to get back into shape. We don't expect too much from immediate results because the journey of building an artist takes time and effort. We hope that the audience will know and accept Hanzi - a newly invested, methodically oriented, professional artist who always brings products with good value, friendly to brands and ready to step into the international stage", the representative of the information company said.
