The first group to debut under The Black Label is called MEOVV, along with a video r.evealing the group's logo. The group's name is pronounced like the sound of a cat meowing "meow", accompanied by 5 black cats that are said to represent the 5 members.

The group's logo features a cat paw decorated with glittery accessories and sharp claws, reminiscent of MEOVV's cute yet dangerous personality. Meanwhile, another teaser shows five black cats sitting on top of the company's building, possibly hinting at the presence of five members in the group.

Earlier this year, the revelations about The Black Label's "thousand-blooded" g.irl group project caused a stir among the public. Because this is the first group personally "sponsored" by Teddy Park - YG's "home" producer, behind the success of 2NE1 and BLACKPINK.
