DLOW: Contestant gets bumper season after 2 Rap competitions, Andree also "has no door" for 1 reason

Dlow is known as a young male rapper who is loved by many viewers for his outstanding musical talent and handsome appearance. Recently, he attracted attention when he returned to participate in "Rap Viet" season 3.

After finishing Top 8 overall last season, this time Dlow is determined to return to "Rap Viet" season 3 to conquer new heights and break his limits. From the first appearance, the rapper surprised by his spectacular "makeover" and was considered one of the notable potential factors.

Dlow's real name is Mai Thanh An, born in 2001 in Hanoi. He studied Cultural Management at Hanoi National University of Arts Education. However, Thanh An has a strong passion for music and especially rap and hip hop genres. Therefore, he decided to pursue his path as a rapper and took the stage name Dlow.

The public began to know Dlow more, since he participated in the show "Rap Viet" season 2. At the same time, he is also considered by many to be a potential new face in the underground world. Here, Dlow conquered the coaches with his natural talent and was said to be one of the "heavyweight" contestants, worthy of other team members to confront.

During the competition, Dlow quickly captured the hearts of the audience with his confidence, strong voice, handsome appearance and personality platinum hair. Despite his relatively young age, when standing on the same stage with other seniors and seniors, this rookie is not inferior.

Specifically, Dlow used a sample from coach Andree Right Hand - "Play Like America" to have a performance that "burned the stage" and received 98% of the votes from the audience.

This made Andree unable to sit still while Dlow performed, the male coach ran straight to the stage and affirmed a firm sentence: "Mr. Thai, this friend is not suitable for you. I suit you dusty friends, and this friend is mine."

After a fierce competition with coach Thai VG, Andree Right Hand successfully got a contestant who was in the Top 8 of "Rap Vietnam" season 2. Notably, Dlow revealed that returning to coach Andree's team was in his plans.

In the Head-to-Head round, 8 contestants from each team will pair up to compete for a spot in the next round. Accordingly, the Andree Right Hand team consisting of: SMO, Dlow, Minh Lai, Rhyder, Dubbie, STRANGE H, Shorty Thang and Richie D. ICY competed first.

The most surprising match was Dlow - STRANGE H. Talking about the reason for choosing the two male rappers to face off, coach Andree said, it was because they both have strengths in flow as well as performance energy, so they will complement each other well.

In the test, both Dlow and his teammates performed very well what the coach wanted. Although the male rapper born in 2001 was slightly better and achieved a higher vote score from the studio audience (78 points), while STRANGE H only achieved 22 points, the judges made the decision to choose this contestant in the next round.

He thought he had to leave, but luck smiled on Dlow. After the end of the "8 bar" section, when Andree made the choice of Richie D. ICY to continue with the team, Coach B Ray threw the Golden Hat to save Dlow, meaning he would continue to participate in the Breakthrough round of the program.

However, the judges and coaches said Dlow should be more liberal and smile more because that's what everyone here and all his fans want to see. Besides, they also praised Dlow's "makeover" this time. At the end of the Group C sections, Dlow lacked a bit of luck and watched Mikelodic advance to the final regretfully. However, there are still 3 Golden Hats to consider saving the eliminated contestant of the Breakthrough round, so Dlow still has a chance to return to the stage of "Rap Viet" season 3 and perform in front of fans.
