In recent years, Hong Nhung has always worked hard and enthusiastically. She is loved by the audience for her friendliness and openness every time she appears on stage. Until the afternoon of January 22, the diva suddenly announced that she was facing breast cancer.

Hong Nhung shared that when she posted her letter, she had also completed a course of treatment. The singer born in 1970 affirmed that she was ready to face and try to overcome this disease. At the same time, she reassured the audience that she was fine, could still sing and give her all.

"I hope you don't view these posts with a negative perspective, because Bong is living with all the love and hope that all challenges will pass, the most positive things will come if we believe in ourselves," she said.

At the time of her breast cancer diagnosis, Hong Nhung said she wanted to hide her illness so as not to worry hundreds of colleagues and friends because they were working on many projects together. The 7x singer chose to use medication for treatment. However, after waking up from surgery, she decided to make this story public to the audience.

"I also woke up with a new decision, that is, I want to live fully all the remaining days of my life, for my career and for the fight against cancer. I want to send them sympathy and, above all, share with each other the hope for good things, to overcome this disease together. Besides the love and care of friends, we also have each other," Hong Nhung confided.

In addition, the diva also declared: "If the Ministry of Health in Vietnam allows me to contribute a small part, I am ready in any form." In the days before Tet, she hopes everyone will close the unfortunate things and look forward to the most positive things.

"Entering 2025, with the awareness that this disease can come to anyone, Hong Nhung hopes that we, especially women, will screen for cancer early, have the courage to face it and give love to overcome it together," she said.
