Director Tran Luc was born in 1963 in Hanoi, started his career as an actor, but he became famous and loved by more people when he became a movie director. The talented male director was born in the cradle of art. His family has many artists and is a famous artist in Hanoi. His father is the late People's Artist Tran Bang, his mother is the talented cheo artist Tran Thi Xuan, and his grandfather is the writer Tran Tieu (the younger brother of writer Khai Hung).

Before becoming famous, Tran Luc shared that he used to work as an actor in the General Department of Logistics, but most of them were public roles. In 1983, he took a class in theater directing and trained for 7 years in Bulgaria.

Recently, Tran Luc caused a fever with the audience when he transformed into musician Trinh Cong Son in the work "Em and Trinh Nhat Linh".

To be able to successfully transform into this role, the actor must have good acting skills, speak the Hue accent, and know how to play the piano and sing, said director Nhat Linh. Although he is a famous artist, in terms of appearance and voice of actor Tran Luc, it is not suitable for the role of Trinh Cong Son.

Therefore, Tran Luc had to learn to speak with Hue accent, learn both French and study from the charisma to the way of speaking, walking, etc., every detail of the late musician Trinh Cong Son.

He even grew his hair long, forcing himself on a diet to lose 10kg to resemble the character. So much so that when Tran Luc sang, musician Duc Tri, who worked a lot with the late musician Trinh Cong Son, suddenly exclaimed: "It's like seeing Uncle Son in front of me". This shows how much effort and success actor Tran Luc has made.

Director Tran Luc: 60 years old is secretive with his 3rd wife

Director Tran Luc in the 90s was a "lover" of theater and cinema with famous beauties such as People's Artist Le Khanh, Chieu Xuan, Thu Ha, etc. But the person who pulled him to the 7th art subject was People's Artist Le Khanh.

Six years ago on the occasion of the premiere of the play he staged, Tran Luc said: "To be precise, it was Le Khanh (People's Artist Le Khanh) who pulled me into cinema. Finally, I was absorbed in it, but when I looked up, I saw that I had come a long way."

Director Tran Luc is successful in his career, but actor Tran Luc's married life is quite messy. Tran Luc got married when he was only 20 years old, so far he has had 3 wives. While studying theater directing in Bulgaria, he married for the first time, his wife is a famous pianist. However, only he and his son returned home in 1991 without his wife accompanying him. Until now, he has not once mentioned or shared the cause of the breakup of this marriage.

Tran Luc's second wife is a famous editor of Vietnam Television Station, but this marriage lasted only 3 years, then broke up. The reason is that the two are too busy with work and cannot overcome the career barrier.

Experiencing many breakdowns and hardships in marriage, until now actor Tran Luc has had a happy and warm family life with his third wife, Bui My Trang, who is very talented and responsible, with 3 good children.

Director Tran Luc admits a bad character, that is, he rarely buys gifts for his wife on holidays or when he goes away. His wife was also disappointed, sad and angry at first, but gradually had to accept it.

Talking about this third wife, Tran Luc once confessed: "She is also an ordinary person like many other women. But in general, my wife is all talented and intelligent people."

Every week, Tran Luc brings his family to visit his grandparents' house. Sometimes he even takes his family away to relieve stress and increase family emotional connection.
