In the live show The day I light the stars in the evening 4/5, Dam Vinh Hung dressed in designer Tuan Tran's costume and added some badges that the audience considered "strange" on the body. On May 7, Le Thanh Liem, chief inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the ministry was aware of the incident. Earlier, when the controversy occurred, Dam Vinh Hung said that the costume designed by Tuan Tran was inspired by an outfit he liked on the international runway. Dam Vinh Hung said that with what he received from his life and career, he was "not foolish" to trade with unnecessary noise. He looks forward to receiving constructive contributions from the public so that he can improve every day. Dam Vinh Hung revealed that he and his crew decided not to use this outfit in the next show on May 18 in Hanoi to avoid noise.
