Director Le Quang Tu Do asked the platforms to pay attention to correcting KOLs and KOCs, not allowing them to take advantage of personal scandals, not only causing insecurity and disorder but also making profits.

"ViruSs asked for 5 more minutes to correct and apologize to the audience and the public, but in the meantime, they still made money because the audience still spent money and registered to the live room to comment. In cases that have a big impact, leading to great public interest, and can cause disorder, the platforms must cooperate with the Department to prevent it. Accordingly, as soon as receiving information about more than one million people watching ViruSs's livestream, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information immediately asked the male streamer to stop live streaming.

However, depending on the method of gifting and donating, the platform can retain 20% or 50% of the total amount that the user receives. Therefore, it is unclear how much gift money ViruSs received from the livestream.

After the livestream, ViruSs may have earned a total of hundreds of millions of VND. However, the TikTok platform does not clearly announce the revenue sharing ratio between the system and content creators, so the actual amount ViruSs received may be lower. The exact number needs to consider factors such as the actual number of subscribers, fees, and revenue sharing ratio with the platform.
