At 96 years old, Ms. Huynh in Ha Tinh still maintains the habit of going to the gym in the morning and jogging in the afternoon. She enjoys swimming and traveling with her children and grandchildren. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huynh wakes up at 5am when many people are still asleep.

After cleaning himself, Mr. Huynh sat waiting for his grandson to take him to the gym on Ha Huy Tap Street, Ha Tinh City. Like a young gymmer, Mr. Huynh ran on the treadmill, starting at 6-7km/h. Many people were surprised, expressed their admiration for the old lady and wished her to always be happy, healthy, and happy with her children and grandchildren.

"She has been working out at the gym for 4 months. After each workout, she feels healthier and eats better. In the morning, after working out, she eats a bowl of pho or vermicelli. At noon, she eats 2 bowls of rice with minced fish or meat, and 2 bowls of rice for dinner. In the afternoon, she jogs around the lake," Ms. Huynh happily said.

Mr. Huynh said that in the past, his family's life was hard, working hard in the fields. To stay healthy, he still took time to jog around the village.

Even at this rare age, he still keeps exercising. Every morning and afternoon, he maintains his jogging habit, except when he is sick or the weather is erratic.

"If there is a running competition for seniors, for people 60 years old and over, I will participate to inspire my grandchildren to practice physical exercise and sports," Ms. Huynh excitedly said.

Mr. Vo Ta Nam - Huynh's grandson shared that he saw his grandmother diligently jogging around the living area, but because of her advanced age, her children and grandchildren were not reassured. More than 4 months ago, he took her to the gym to work out with him.

At first, she was a bit hesitant because there were only people her children and grandchildren were old enough to be there. But after letting her try the machine, she found it suitable and enjoyable, so she asked her grandchildren to sign up to practice with her.

Upon hearing this information, the trainers at the gym were all very surprised. Because they had never trained a gym-goer with a record age of nearly 100. The trainer will guide her through gentler exercises, suitable for her age. After the workout and breakfast, the children go to work and school, and she stays home to clean the house and cook.

According to Mr. Nam, she is at a rare age but still has a very youthful personality. On weekends, after practice, she will have breakfast and go to a coffee shop with her children and grandchildren. When going out for snacks, she loves dishes such as: mixed rice paper, ice cream, and mango salad.

"She also loves traveling with her children and grandchildren. Most recently, her children and grandchildren took her on a 3-day trip to Quang Binh to visit relatives. She also wants to go to Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa). She swims in the pool or the sea like everyone else.
